Here we go AGAIN!
Well, if you're like me, which most people today are, you are on the unemployment line AGAIN! Why is it when companies need to "cut costs" they get rid of the thing that costs the least? I was working at a local financial institution and was the newest one there which translates into the lowest paid one there and I was told, after a year and a half, "due to the difficult economic times, the company has to cut back and can only keep th best of the best and, unfortunately, you didn't make the cut, so you are cut." Meanwhile, the recently hired manager just replaced her old lexus SUV with a brand new caddy SUV that she went north to pick up cause they didn't have one here. I say if we are supposed to be a team and all in this together, we should re-evaluate the company expenses and bonuses and benefits and try to keep a hard working family guy working. BUT, thank God for our unemployment benefits that kicked in and the $25.00 raise, I am staying home, being a "house husband" and pulling in a very impressive $4.48 an hour. Oh Yea Baby! I'm ridin' this gravy train till it runs dry. Feel free to share your story, talk about yourself, what you did, what they did to you, what you want to do, vent, cry, let it out, whatever. Trust me it will make you feel better and who knows, maybe somebody out there will need your help. Talk to ya soon, it ain't like I go anything else to do.
